The World of Learning, the UK’s key conference, exhibition and awards for business learning, is to move dates for 2009 to 30 September & 1 October 2009. The event remains at the NEC, Birmingham, the UK’s premier exhibition venue.
Andrew Gee, Project Manager for the World of Learning, commented: “We are in constant consultation with exhibitors and visitors about the ideal timing of the event for them. Demand has shown that late September / early October is the most crucial period to meet their needs.
“As increasing pressure is put on budgets and proving a return on expenditure – and never more so than in the current economic climate – well-timed and advanced planning becomes ever more vital. Many buyers are now planning next year’s spend well before the end of the year, and we have listened to their feedback.
“Our decision to move the event from November to late September is indicative of our ongoing commitment to the learning and development industry and our responsiveness to its needs.”
Each year, the World of Learning attracts thousands of learning and development professionals to its conference, exhibition and awards. Now in its sixteenth year, it is the essential event for learning and development professionals, as well as those responsible for personnel and HR within their companies.
