Why apprentices make good business sense: free webinar

by Rob Moss 7 Jan 2014
by Rob Moss 7 Jan 2014

Wednesday 22 January, 2:00pm GMT

Apprenticeships have seen a steady increase in recent years, as employers and apprentices alike realise the value they deliver. Indeed, research by the Centre for Economics and Business Research predicts apprenticeships will contribute £3.4 billion per year to the economy over the next decade and demand for places is at an all-time high.

But in order to meet this demand and realise economic potential, more employers need to launch apprenticeships, making apprentice recruitment a core part of their business strategy.

In an hour-long webinar, hosted by Personnel Today editor Rob Moss, you will hear from the National Apprenticeship Service and two of the City & Guilds Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers 2013 – one large, one small. They will discuss how apprentices have positively affected their business and how they have firmly embedded apprentice recruitment in their structure.

Presentations will also cover how to recruit an apprentice and the support available, the latest news on the higher apprenticeship in human resources, details on traineeships and also information on how to become one of the Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers of the future.
