Safe Computing has announced the acquisition of AHL Management Limited, the Bishop Stortford based specialised outsourcing provider to the recruitment agency sector.  AHL has also traded as Hydra AHL and Hydra BPO.

AHL will be forming part of the Safe Outsourcing division  that now processes over three- quarters of a million timesheets a year and provides outsourcing services to include fully managed payroll, billing, credit control, accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial accounts, staff payroll/HR and management information services.

In announcing the acquisition, Sandy Scott, Managing Director of Safe said “acquiring AHL significantly strengthens our presence in the outsourcing sector and complements the Safe Outsourcing business established earlier this year and endorses Safe’s commitment to the recruitment agency sector of providing a full range of outsourced or in-house solutions to fulfil agency’s requirements for front, middle and back office solutions.” Safe’s product range includes the Tempest Pay and bill products, ST Net web based front office application and the Safe Financials suite that incorporates its world class cash management credit control application.

Following this acquisition the Safe Group will employ over 150 people and have a projected 2010 turnover exceeding £12Million.

Kevin Lecompte, Managing Director of AHL Management said “ Securing AHL within the Safe Group will be of great benefit to our customers and I believe the combined companies will create a market leading service provider to the recruitment Industry for front, middle and back Office outsourced managed services.  Our aim is to ensure that we provide leading edge systems and services in the most cost effective manner to generate the most competitive cost beneficial service to our current and future, recruitment agency clients.
