AccessPlanit adds Acacia Training and Development Ltd to list of clients

by Personnel Today 23 Nov 2009
by Personnel Today 23 Nov 2009

AccessPlanit, the creator of the innovative online course booking solution – Course Manager, has added South West-based training provider Acacia Training and Development Ltd to its fast-expanding list of clients.

Acacia Training and Development Ltd has evolved from three separate training organisations: Horizon Training based in Taunton, Somerset; CETS Training based in Plymouth, Devon; and Ethos PTC based in Newton Abbot, Devon.

The three centres combined have considerable experience in a wide range of training. Government funded youth and adult apprenticeships, and adult NVQs, are offered from each of the three locations covering much of Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Dorset. Training is available in a wide range of vocational areas such as: Health & Social Care, Children’s Care Learning & Development, Hairdressing, Accounting, Management, Business Administration and Customer Service.

Having recognised the need to streamline their current course back-office processes, which suffered the classic problems of data duplication, repetitive data entry and lack of integration with other key business systems, the Acacia training team conducted a thorough review of the market.

The team was able to clearly see the way that Course Manager would make their own operation more efficient and allow them to make considerable savings on both their administration time and costs. The additional benefits of an easy to use, hosted, scalable solution helped them decide to implement the Course Manager system.

The innovative Course Manager system incorporates a suite of modules that cover every aspect of a training centre’s operations. It combines course booking, scheduling and invoicing tools with a powerful CRM and marketing database to reduce the cost of training administration, and deliver a platform for overall business management.

Totally unique the system offers complete flexibility allowing customers to select the modules they require but, importantly, as all the modules are underpinned by a single, secure, web-hosted database, the system enables them to take a more joined-up and integrated approach to managing their operations.

David Evans, Commercial Director at AccessPlanit, commented: “We are delighted that Acacia Training and Development has decided to invest in our Course Manager solution. With the implementation of Course Manager, Acacia will be able to manage training administration, track learners’ training histories and evaluate their courses more efficiently”.
