Home Retail Group has teamed up with the Financial Services Authority (FSA) to provide financial education to its staff.

More than 1,000 employees who work in the group’s Argos and Homebase distribution centres, as well as the head offices, have attended the sessions.

The FSA presentations cover a range of money matters including borrowing, protection, savings and investments and Home Retail Group’s benefit and reward package.

Home Retail Group’s benefits manager, Debbie Cam, said: “With the current financial challenges that we all face every day, there is no better time for us to provide colleagues with financial education to enable them to better review their finances.”

Home Retail Group employs about 53,000 people.
