On the move: John Whelan, Lisa Rome, Sarah Hackney

Military Air Solutions, part of the global defence and aerospace company BAE Systems, has appointed John Whelan as human resources director. Whelan will implement the people and organisation aspects of meeting governmental defence targets. Previously, he was HR director at BAE Systems’ head office.

Eric Robinson Solicitors has appointed Lisa Rome as HR manager, a brand new position for the company. Rome will offer support and advice on best practice to employees and partners at the firm, to resolve HR issues. Prior to this appointment, she was interim HR manager at estate agency Knight Frank.

Sarah Hackney has joined domiciliary care group I Care as HR manager, with overall responsibility for HR and training. Previously, she was HR development manager at recruitment agency Fylde Office Service Bureau.
