Balance Learning offers expert email advice at WoLCE

by Personnel Today 15 Oct 2007
by Personnel Today 15 Oct 2007

Visitors to World of Learning 2007 can resolve individual or organisational email challenges by consulting with the ‘email doctor’ – an expert in email best practice – on Balance Learning’s stand (F10) on 15 November.

Balance Learning recently launched Emailogic Interactive-Effective Email, an engaging e-learning course which shows how employees can save an average of 29 minutes per day by managing their email more efficiently. The course is an interactive version of an award-winning seminar by Emailogic, the market leader in email best practice. It features an engaging video presentation by email expert Marc Powell, supplemented with interactive exercises, animations and examples of good practice.

Marc Powell will offer his skills and expertise as the ‘email doctor’ on Balance Learning’s stand. He will also be demonstrating how Emailogic Interactive-Effective Email helps individuals write, reply to, forward, copy, access and store their emails, in a free seminar in the Product Presentation Theatre on 15 November (1.15-1.45pm).

Also at the show, Balance Learning will preview its latest e-learning course, called Effective Time Management, which helps individuals to prioritise their time and reduce stress. It covers the principles and practices of time management, how to recognise your own time management style, tools and techniques for planning, prioritising and controlling your workload and strategies for working with others.

“For many people, poor time management is the biggest stumbling block to their success,” said Chris Horseman. “This interactive course enlivens the subject and truly engages interest. It will help you to develop good personal and professional habits and to take control of your activities, so that you work smarter and get more value out of your time.”

Developed in conjunction with live training provider Partners in Business, the 90-minute e-learning course features a video presentation by time management expert Judi Walsingham, with additional interactive exercises and best practice guidelines.

Emailogic Interactive-Effective Email and Effective Time Management are the first courses in Balance Learning’s new Xpert Factor series of engaging learning resources, which feature interactive presentations and are developed in partnership with subject experts. The company plans to launch additional courses in this series, covering stress management and recruitment & retention.
