Young’s Seafood has appointed Ellen Cockburn as HR director. She was previously director of capability and development at Northern Foods. She will oversee almost 5,000 staff at 10 sites in Humberside and Scotland.

Electrical retailer DSG International has promoted Ben Bengougam to group HR director. Bengougam will head DSG’s international HR team, taking responsibility for all aspects of HR strategy and will report directly to the chief executive, John Clare. The current group HR director, David Longbottom, will retire at the end of March.

Fiona Timmins has been appointed the new HR manager at Gatwick Express. She joins the rail operator from Amey Infrastructure Services.
