Kay Slassor has joined property consultancy Vail Williams as HR director. Slassor will work as a strategic business partner and will be based at the company’s Thames Valley office. She joins from US Life and Analytical Sciences Corporations where she was HR director for the European Service Strategic Business Unit and the UK.

NYK Logistics UK has announced the appointment of Ted Johnson as its new HR director. Johnson joins NYK from rival logistics firm Wincanton, where he was HR director for the company’s manufacturing division. Johnson takes responsibility for the 4,500 employees inherited from NYK’s acquisition of UCI Logistics and New Wave Logistics earlier this year.
