Jill King has joined Carillion Business Services (CBS) as HR director. Her responsibilities range across the three divisions of CBS: construction, consultancy and facilities management. Previously, she worked for Kellogg Brown & Root as the vice-president of HR.
The Transport and General Workers’ Union (T&G) has appointed Ray Fletcher as HR director. He will report directly to the general secretary Tony Woodley and will play a significant part in the union’s new agenda for change and growth. Fletcher joins the T&G after nine years as executive director of Remploy, the employment provider for disabled people.
Tom Irvine (pictured) has been appointed to the new role of director of leadership at the Leadership Centre for Local Government, the body charged with developing leadership capacity within the public sector. He joins from Praxis Development Consultants where he advised the public and private sectors on developing leadership capacity.
