The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) is letting employers, workers, health professionals and other interested parties view its occupational health and safety training videos online without the need to buy a tape.
The organisation’s ‘e-videos’ are believed to be a first for the industry, as it draws together programmes from some of the best-known production companies.
Videos can be watched by staff at their desks and have an interactive element, helping managers to check how well the messages have been understood.
Programmes cover: the office, the construction industry, driver safety, Control of Substances Hazardous to Health, personal protective equipment and manual handling.
Rebecca Fletcher, RoSPA product manager (marketing), said: “There is an interactive quiz to check how well the knowledge has been absorbed.
