Firefighters
are reportedly taking unofficial industrial action after a disagreement over
how their pay rise will be introduced.
According
to Sky News, the action began in Norfolk last night and has already started to
spread to other parts of the country.
Some
firefighters are only answering 999 call in protest at the way the agreed 7 per
cent pay increase is being phased in.

The
Fire Brigades Union (FBU) expressed anger over the latest plans to pay the
rise, which ended a bitter 10-month dispute, in two parts.
