Advanced Business Solutions extends partnership with Software Europe

Partnership extension enables Advanced Business Solutions to provide its commercial and public sector customers with greater control over staff expenses

Advanced Business Solutions (ABS) has extended its business partnership with independent software solutions provider Software Europe. Under the terms of the agreement, ABS will now provide its commercial and public sector customers with Software Europe’s leading automated expenses management system, Expenses.

Since initially partnering with Software Europe in December 2009, Advanced Business Solutions’ NHS customers have gained significant back office efficiencies from using Expenses which complements ABS’ comprehensive suite of business applications. These efficiency savings have typically included an 18% reduction in mileage expense payments in addition to a 9% reduction in staff expenses spend. ABS can now offer Expenses to its commercial and public sector customers, giving them greater control over staff expenses and improving their bottom line.

Expenses replaces inefficient manual processes and is an easy-to-use expenses management solution that enables staff to input their travel and subsistence expense claims online. Claims are checked and validated against an organisation’s expenses policy and errors are captured and flagged before they reach the payment phase, allowing authorisers to quickly approve, decline or query a claim.

Dean Dickinson, Managing Director of Advanced Business Solutions, says, “Many of our customers have streamlined their expense management processes and achieved considerable cost savings since using Expenses. By extending our partnership with Software Europe, our commercial and public sector customers can now also benefit from this impressive functionality and gain a more accurate and effective means of managing staff expenses.”

Neil Everatt, Managing Director of Software Europe, comments, “ABS is very professional and has been a pleasure to work with so we had little hesitation in extending our partnership with them. The successful combination of ABS’ business applications suite with our employee expense management system will provide even more organisations with ‘best of breed’ software systems to help increase efficiency and profitability.”
