The body responsible for organising the London 2012 Olympic Games has signed a deal with recruitment firm Adecco covering all its permanent and temporary recruitment.
Adecco will work with the HR team at the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games (LOCOG) as the body aims to dramatically increase the number of people it employs.
The reported £20m deal means Adecco is officially classed as a ‘Tier Two Supporter’ to London 2012. The firm will also support LOCOG’s staff in finding new jobs after the games end.
According to London 2012 chairman Sebastian Coe, LOCOG is set to double in size in 2009 and will have a workforce in the thousands by the time the games begin.
