Alex Hoye joins PeoplePerHour as non-exec director

Dotcom veteran brings extensive online experience to PeoplePerHour: the UK’s biggest and fastest-growing online marketplace for services.

Alex Hoye – cofounder of GoIndustry this week was appointed non-exec director of PeoplePerHour.

PeoplePerHour has grown rapidly since launching last year.

Small businesses owners use PeoplePerHour to outsource small tasks to the site’s 8000+ service providers.

Alex Hoye brings to PeoplePerHour a wealth of experience in successfully building and growing online marketplaces.

His most notable success was floating GoIndusty in 2006 on AIM where it has a market capitalization of $100m.

Mr Hoye now acts as angel investor, non-exec director or advisor to a small number of internet enterprises.

“PeoplePerHour.com’s impressive early growth and experienced team made it an extremely attractive business to get involved with,” says Hoye.

“I’m confident my particular experience developing online concepts will prove extremely beneficial.”
