Allied
Carpets is rolling out an online recruitment system to its 220 UK stores, in a
bid to attract more candidates.
The
firm normally recruits between 15 and 20 new staff every month, ranging from
warehouse workers to senior management. It needs to attract applicants at every
level.
HR
manager Philip Ryan-Culver said the firm hoped to get more quality candidates
at a range of levels, and felt that online recruitment was the best way to go.
Allied
Carpets will use HR Portal to research suitable job websites and monitor the
quality of the initiative.
