Aviva
is to cut 900 jobs following a review of its Norwich Union business.
The
restructuring will see around 600 compulsory redundancies and the closure of a
life and pensions administration office employing 280 people at Cheadle, near
Manchester.

The
cuts will see 60 jobs lost at Perth and 40 at Worthing, Sussex. There will also
be further losses at other undisclosed offices.
