Private-equity owned pub group Barracuda has reshuffled its human resources team to better accommodate the company’s rapid expansion programme.
The managed pub company, which operates more than 200 outlets across the UK, includes brands Smith & Jones and student-focused bar Varsity.
The restructure introduces two heads of HR, working under HR and founding director Jane Biss.
Both previously personnel and training and development managers, Chris Moores becomes head of personnel and Sally Anne-Lee becomes head of training and development.

Biss said: “As our estate has grown, we have almost doubled the size of the HR department in the past 12 months. These changes to the senior management will enable the team to be more clearly defined and operate a strategic role within the business.”
In 2005 Barracuda was the subject of a £262m management buyout and is now backed by private equity firm Charterhouse Capital Partners.
