Your boss has asked you to find a list of possible training venues in
Birmingham for the next team-building session – and he wants it before lunch.
Fear not, as along as you have the Superman equivalent of a training venue
finder in your bookmarks. VenueSelector.com does make light work of the task,
returning details of all 161 possible venues in or near Brum in a matter of
seconds. The site, free for the venue searcher (the venues pay, of which there
are currently 15,000), claims to be the largest single online repository of UK
accommodation, conference meeting and training venues and whether the claim is
true or not, it’s a damn handy site. You can either choose a town or city and
it’ll list all possible venues, along with detailed information. As well as
number of delegates and type of venue it even lets you specify your three most
important facilities. The site is run by Leeds-based Selector Ltd, which plans
expansion into Europe and other business areas so, hopefully, even requests for
venues in deepest Estonia will be a breeze.
