Last night, Brighton-based e-learning specialists, Brightwave, scooped TWO gold awards at the annual prestigious E-Learning Awards in London’s Marriott Hotel in Grosvenor Square. This follows the company holding the coveted E-Learning Development Company of the Year accolade over the past year.
Brightwave won the gold E-Learning Compliance Award for ‘Meeting the needs of compliance for an external regulator or an internal workforce’ with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and ‘Best use of rapid e-learning content’ with Bupa Health and Wellbeing UK.
Charles Gould, Brightwave’s MD said: “Following a highly successful year for us as E-Learning Development Company of the Year, we’re absolutely thrilled to top it off with two further E-Learning Gold Awards.
“Both awards are in recognition of the magnificent design and customer-led approach the whole team embraces at Brightwave and our commitment to make a real impact for all of our clients. It’s a huge testament to the team’s ongoing hard work, dedication and creativity and we’re looking ahead to 2011 with real optimism and more strong expected growth,” continued Gould.

Brightwave’s Compliance E-Learning Award recognises the company’s bespoke video e-learning portal, which was created to train all PwC employees in compliance. Not only did the portal create a memorable, personalised and applied learning experience that changed behaviour, but it also provided a better assessment practice and robust audit trail.
The ‘Best use of rapid e-learning content’ award recognises Brightwave’s large scale rapid e-learning programme, incorporating 400 modules, developed for Bupa to train staff in the company’s new unified system.
The E-Learning Awards (http://www.elearningage.co.uk/awards.aspx) are organised by Bizmedia and honour the best in e-learning. The awards showcase the astonishing range and quality of e-learning within the private, public and not for profit sectors.
