Business group seeks end to rising public sector employment

The rise in the number of public sector employees must not continue, according to the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC).

The BCC said it was of real concern to business that public sector employment jumped by 170,000 jobs last year while at the same time manufacturing jobs declined by 120,000.
