Cabbie’s good deed doesn’t ring true

Guru was somewhat distressed to hear about the gullible New York cab driver who ‘honestly’ tracked down the owner of more than 30 diamond rings that had been left in the back of his cab and was happy to walk off with a mere $50 reward (that’s just £25 in real money).

Why? Well, who in the world has 30 fingers? Unless there were three blinged-up passengers or some alien life form from a distant galaxy, Guru respectfully suggests that the NY cabby was himself on another planet when carrying out his good deed.
