Nearly
a quarter of city workers have refused to apply for a job on ethical grounds, a
survey has revealed.
The
survey of 930 city workers by CitiPeople found 24 per cent of respondents had
refused jobs for moral reasons.
And
68 per cent of those questioned said they would not apply to an employer they
believed to be exploiting Third World countries.
Only
9 per cent of the workers from London, New York and Sidney said they did not
care about ethical issues when applying for jobs.
