GMB and other union members working for Laing O’Rourke on the Terminal 5 project at Heathrow have settled their bonus pay dispute.
The new deal sees an increase in the amount of the back pay to £800 per person with the hourly bonus rate increasing by 80p per hour.
Workers at Terminal 5 had staged several strikes over the past few months in a dispute over hourly overtime pay.
There is also a ‘no intimidation or retaliation’ clause in the offer to protect the employment and positions of the workers who have taken part in the industrial action related to the dispute.

The offer was recommended to members for acceptance by the trade union negotiators.
Tom Kelly, GMB construction organiser, said: “GMB is glad that the dispute has been settled and we hope that we can now get on with Laing O’Rourke to finish the terminal.”
