A meeting of a conciliation committee designed to bring the two sides
together hit the buffers, with little progress being made over the working
hours of junior doctors.
Although progress was achieved regarding sea fishermen and non-mobile
workers, the package has to be agreed as a whole to become law. The two
institutions have until 6 April to strike a deal, or the proposal may be
shelved.
