Expacare to offer Waiver of Maternity Cover for Transfering Schemes

by Personnel Today 5 Nov 2008
by Personnel Today 5 Nov 2008

Angie Scaddan, Regional Sales Consultant, Expacare, says, “The inclusion of a maternity waiting period on medical insurance policies is a standard feature.  However, for companies with an existing international health scheme it means that their ability to transfer between providers can be restricted as existing members of the scheme will have already served out the waiting period.  This restricts their ability to switch to a provider who may be able to offer increased benefits, pricing and service”.

Specialcare is the Expacare plan with the most wide-ranging benefits and offers cover that compares favourably with other leading products in the market.

Beverly Cook, Managing Director, Expacare, says, “Companies are looking for more flexibility from providers and services that stand out in the marketplace. We have spent time talking to our partners to see what they want and we feel this will make a difference”.

To find out more about this product contact either, Angie Scaddan on [email protected] 01344 381657 or Matt Gale – [email protected] 01344 381651.
