Almost
80 per cent of HR professionals are women, according to a new survey.
The
Personnel and Payroll, Salary Survey 2002 also reveals that of the 760 people
surveyed, more than half work in organisations employing between 50 and 500
people.
Forty
per cent have a CIPD qualification, 12 per cent an Institute of Payroll and
Pensions Management (IPPM) qualification.
Almost
30 per cent earn less than £20,000, 53 per cent earn £20-35,000, and 18 per
cent earn more.
Their
average salary rise last year was 3.9 per cent. www.gee.co.uk
