Free ride nets tax breaks for bank staff

The
Royal Bank of Scotland Group is encouraging employees to use bicycles as part
of its benefits programme.

As
a result, its employees will gain tax breaks and interest free funding over
three years to buy a bicycle worth up to £600.

Group
HR director Neil Roden said: “As well as being a great deal, employees will
benefit from a healthier way to travel to work." The deal is backed by the
Halfords retail chain.
