Free stress risk assessment for UK organisations

by Personnel Today 30 Sep 2009
by Personnel Today 30 Sep 2009

In support of National Stress Awareness Day on November 4th 2009, Inner Physique Ltd, a leading edge stress management solution provider is offering free, confidential, online Stress Risk Assessment staff surveys for UK organisations.

Why Assess the Risk from Stress?

The Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1999 make it a legal requirement for all UK organisations to assess the risk from stress.  The first step in any organisation’s stress management strategy therefore is to assess this risk, and the principal way to do this is by conducting a staff survey.  Inner Physique’s online Stress Risk Assessment survey provides a simple and effective way to do this.

Inner Physique’s Stress Risk Assessment

Inner Physique’s online Stress Risk Assessment follows the HSE’s own benchmark “Indicator Tool” standard, incorporating 35 statements about work-related stressors into a simple to use, web-based tool that allows your organisation’s employees to log in to the system and complete the assessment process in as little as just 5 minutes.  The results are fed anonymously through to a management reporting tool that provides your organisation’s HR and/or Health & Safety professionals with a detailed and comprehensive analysis of results and comparison against UK national averages and HSE recommended minimum standards.  The system will automatically flag areas of concern and rank results based upon risk level.

National Stress Awareness Day

National Stress Awareness Day (NSAD) is organised by the International Stress Management Association UK, a registered charity whose aim is to advance the education of the public in the field of biological stress.  NSAD aims to help people by highlighting the many coping strategies and sources of help available to people who want to reduce the harmful effects of stress in their lives.

Free Offer

To celebrate National Stress Awareness Day, Inner Physique is providing its Online Stress Risk Assessment service completely free of charge.   In order to qualify, organisations must be based in the UK, employ between 100 and 2,000 staff and have the IT infrastructure necessary for staff to access the Stress Risk Assessment using a standard web browser across the Internet.

How to Apply

Organisations can request further details by phone on 0800 680 9068, by email at [email protected], or by visiting the events page of the National Stress Awareness Day web site.
