Independent recruitment consultancy FreshMinds Talent has appointed existing Head of Innovation and Deputy Managing Director James Callander to the Managing Director post.
Callander replaces Alistair Leathwood, who moves to head up the Research arm of the FreshMinds business.
FreshMinds has made the strategic change in a bid to capitalise on the expertise that both Callander and Leathwood hold in their respective areas.
Callander has been instrumental in the recent growth of the firm’s interim business and private equity research team, and will make a strong candidate to take the recruitment business forward to the next stage of growth.
The company plans to develop its functional and sector offerings with new heads of the Interim and Executive Hire teams planned for 2009.
Callander takes the reins from Alistair Leathwood, who has successfully grown the business over the two years he was at the helm.
