Cambridgeshire County Council has employed 11 new trainees on its graduate
development programme.
The trainees (right), who were among 566 initial applicants, will take part
in a variety of projects around the council as well as working towards
appropriate professional qualifications to help fast-track them into management
positions.
The council’s director of resources Mike Parsons said: "This scheme is
very important to Cambridgeshire County Council and helps ensure we have a
continuous supply of first-class managers with the personal attributes and
professional qualifications to cope with the ever more complex and changing
responsibilities of local government."
