Grass Roots Group celebrates student success

by Personnel Today 11 Feb 2009
by Personnel Today 11 Feb 2009

Performance improvement company Grass Roots Group is celebrating the success of a record breaking 14 employees being awarded their ISP Diploma in Motivation.

Susanne Lewtas and Victoria Goulbourne, both from the Rewards and Benefits team, were awarded credits, as were  Annette Yates in Solutions Development and Marie-Claire Snape from the International team.

A further nine employees were awarded passes including Kirsty de la Force and Chris Bason from the Events arm of the business.

Kirsty Hutt, who is in the second year of a two year internship, also received a credit.  Following spells with the Solutions Development and Learning teams, Kirsty has recently moved to the Grass Roots HR team.

She sees the ISP Diploma in Motivation as the perfect compliment to the practical experience she is gathering from her time in different departments: “Studying for the Diploma has given me a really rounded view of motivation to go alongside what I’ve been learning on a day to day basis with specific teams at Grass Roots. It’s been well worth all the hard work”.

Chairman and CEO, David Evans is delighted with the commitment shown and results achieved by this latest batch of graduates: “None of us can afford to ever stop learning and it’s terrific to see such an appetite for the Diploma in Motivation among my colleagues.  For these fourteen people, achieving the Diploma in Motivation is confirmation of their great talent and another step towards them realising their full potential at Grass Roots”.

This year’s diploma presentation ceremony took place at the House of Commons on February 4.
