HR backs stance on audits

Earlier
this month Personnel Today broke ranks with the CBI and the CIPD by backing a
proposal for mandatory equal pay audits. Now a survey has shown strong support
for the proposal among HR professionals. Seven out of 10 HR and pay specialists
backed pay audits in a survey by e-reward .

simply does not make sense to argue that employment law does not influence
employers. If that was the case, then how do you explain the huge need for
information and advice on the law from employers?

Good
employers have nothing to fear from sensible pay audits and that is why the
profession is backing Personnel Today’s stand on this issue.
