Online recruitment specialists HR Connexions have successfully partnered Emerald Group Publishing, with their recent employee growth.

Since moving to their new purpose built premises in Bingley, West Yorkshire, Emerald Group Publishing have expanded their company with an additional 18 members of staff.

HR Connexions have been instrumental in ensuring that they attract and recruit quality personnel.

As a rapidly expanding business, Emerald Group Publishing was aiming to reduce its recruitment costs as well as ensure a simple and effective recruitment process.

To aid their recruitment in the past, the company had used a mix of local and national newspapers and recruitment agencies.

In addition they had also used popular online Job boards and other online recruitment companies but with limited success.

HR Connexions were able to provide Emerald Group Publishing with an alternative e-recruitment solution to assist in their recruitment requirements whilst keeping costs under control.

Essentially, HR Connexions ensured maximum response to online recruitment advertising by utilising their specialist expertise in the managing of job board websites and its in-depth knowledge of which sites would work best for the company’s individual requirements.

By tailoring the online recruitment service offered, HR Connexions has ensured that Emerald Group Publishing attracted more quality applicants from having wider internet coverage and a more targeted approach for specific vacancies.

Thereby, reducing the administration burden, dove tailing the company’s recruitment processes and keeping recruitment costs to a minimum.

Over the last 12 months, HR Connexions’ online recruitment solution has successfully supported the recruitment of 10 new starters for Emerald Group Publishing, which range from Sales & Marketing, HR, & Training through to customer support and multi-lingual positions.

This equates to a 90% success rate on the number of vacancies advertised to new starters.

By using HR Connexions, Emerald Group Publishing believe they have saved thousands of pounds in direct advertising costs and see additional savings gained from reducing the administration burden in the HR team.

The partnership with HR Connexions has also meant that Emerald Group Publishing has developed, and is continuing to develop, a robust and creative recruitment process for attracting talent to their business.

The be-spoke online recruitment process delivered by HR Connexions fits comfortably into the organisation’s working patterns; Line Managers can quickly decide where their budget is spent, the HR team remain in complete control and if there are any changes to be made throughout the campaigns, the team are confident that HR Connexions will instantly act upon it.
