Maggie Pavlou, HR director of Parkdean Holidays, said it was a great honour to be chosen.

Pavlou added that having a woman in charge was a great step forward in the right direction as, in the past, chambers had been dominated by men. “Historically, chambers have been seen as gentlemen’s clubs – populated by a 50-plus, grey suit brigade,” she said.
