HR rallies round Subaru’s winners

The
HR team at championship winning rally team Subaru are well used to life in the
fast lane after playing a major role in the firm’s racing success. Earlier this
month Subaru driver Petter Solberg won the Rally of Great Britain in Wales,
making him the overall World Rally Champion.

Team
mate Tommi Makkinen also claimed a podium finish and the HR staff have been
celebrating their role in the success.

The
HR staff, with training company Performance First, set up a series of
initiatives which saw the team completing problem-solving, physical, creative
and trust-building exercises. The team’s HR director, Sue Scarf, said HR and
training measures had contributed hugely to the performance of the drivers and
engineers.
