The HR director of Universal Music is taking part in a roadshow to keep
staff informed about issues affecting the business, such as music piracy.
The interactive roadshow will tour Universal Music’s 15 sites to explain the
company’s goals, plans for the future and some of the problems facing the
industry.
Malcolm Swatton, HR director at Universal, said the innovative roadshows
will give workers an insight into the company’s business challenges.
Swatton will host the events, which will also involve the legal and business
affairs director, the finance director and some guest speakers.
The roadshows will use video screens, music and interactive material to
engage the employees, who are used to working in a creative environment.
"We certainly won’t be lecturing people and we are really trying to be
a bit more creative in the delivery," said Swatton.
