Global information company Reuters is implementing an e-learning training and assessment system that will be used by more than 15,000 employees around the world.
Reuters approached Sheffield-based Can Studios to create and deliver an accreditation and assessment programme to support its Global Learning Division.
Based on Can’s Canvas Learning technology, the training will run across six core business sectors, including customer services, marketing and sales.
It will be integrated into Reuters’ existing Scorm-compliant learning management system. The Sharable Content Object Reference Model (Scorm) is a method of specifying reusable educational media units.
“We sought a rapid development tool, which enabled effective assessment with minimal resource and effort,” said Kelly Thomas, Reuters’ global certification manager.
Canvas Learning software provided a multimedia learning environment designed for online, networked or standalone delivery.
