Full service e-learning solutions provider, IMC (UK) Learning Ltd, today announces the next stage of its successful learning management system, ‘CLIX 2010’. With a completely revised design, a high degree of usability and new service features, CLIX 2010 is the next generation learning management system.
CLIX 2010 offers:
- Revised design – CLIX 2010 has a vastly enhanced design to its previous incarnations. Fresh colour accents and increased use of intuitive icons create clarity, while transparent elements provide ease of use and elegance. This, coupled with interactive highlight effects, offers CLIX 2010 users a completely new experience.
- Ease of use – The clear and simple CLIX 2010 interface helps the learner determine their current stage of learning, locate the next tasks at a glance and quickly retrace their learning history. The new toolbar significantly increases clarity and makes it easy to find learning content and tests, which can be opened in a standard player. Filters, search fields and clearly structured menus enable the intuitive location of functions, courses and learning content. The use of tabs in CLIX 2010 makes it possible to handle several processes at the same time, considerably reducing the number of clicks needed.
- Personal learning environment – As with ‘iGoogle’, users can design their own personal learning environment through the multi-column dashboard. Here, the learner can decide what is displayed including courses booked, current news or upcoming appointments. This entry portal offers central access to courses, functions and learning content with just one click.

CLIX 2010 was developed in consultation with customers who use the system on a daily basis and with reference to the most recent software ergonomics research. Feedback for CLIX 2010 has been consistently positive. Nadine Hengen, responsible for e-learning functional support at the European Organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation, EUROCONTROL, adds: “My first impressions are very positive. Many processes are now shorter and can be carried out at the same time.”
IMC (UK) Learning Ltd will be showcasing CLIX 2010 at the forthcoming HRD Show on the 21st and 22nd April at Olympia, London.
