IT’S MILLAR TIME… Personnel Today’s Michael Millar is returning to Iraq to look at the contribution the UK’s reserve forces are making in the ongoing effort to pacify the insurgency and stabilise the country. He will be grilling the Army on whether the reservists should be there at all, rather than doing the jobs their employers recruited them to do. Millar will also be talking to several employers joining him in Iraq to gauge their views on losing staff for up to a year at a time. Finally, he will quiz reserve soldiers on the ground – more than 800 are currently supporting British forces in Iraq.
