e-tail The term used for shopping on the Internet – an e-tailer is a shop which only trades on the Web.

Clicks and mortar A gimmicky term for e-business; clicks deriving from the clicks of a mouse – symbolising the shopfront – and mortar representing its warehouse and distribution system.

e-learning The practice of learning or taking part in training conducted over the Internet. These can range from partially Internet-based training courses to 100 per cent tuition on the Web.
