JBS Associates expands senior executive HR recruitment practice

by Personnel Today 16 Dec 2008
by Personnel Today 16 Dec 2008

Established international executive search business, JBS Associates, has taken on Dominique McAll to head up its international HR Search Practice.  The practice sources senior HR professionals for emerging and international markets, as well as placing HR professionals with emerging markets experience into UK businesses.

The practice is being expanded in response to increasing demand, particularly in regions such as Africa, the Middle East and Russia, where JBS Associates has been established for some time.  Says Dominique McAll: “We are working with international and national organisations seeking to expand in emerging markets, and develop businesses in new frontier markets.  Interest is coming from all industry sectors, but particularly telecommunications and FMCG.  Companies are looking to establish an experienced HR resource as quickly as possible to provide an expert on the ground who understands the local cultural environment, regulatory practices, labour supply and the economic environment, in order to manage the growth process effectively.”

“The rapid increase in demand for senior HR executives is a testament to growing recognition of the importance of the HR industry and its contribution to commercial success,” continues Dominique McAll.

Says Managing Director, Jonathan Stokes: “A senior HR resource, with relevant market and operational experience, is becoming one of the key criteria our clients are looking for when putting expansion plans together.  As a fast growing business ourselves, we we’re delighted to identify someone of Dominique’s experience to help us fulfil this key client role.”
