Jobsite.co.uk has launched what is thought to be the first job site dedicated to environmental positions.
The online recruitment giant has teamed up with web-based environmental guide The Big Green Switch to provide Big Green Jobs.
Government research predicts that 35,000 people will be working in environment-friendly sectors by 2020.
Roles on Big Green Jobs include environmental architect, energy manager and environmental marketer. Salaries range from £18,000 to £100,000 per year.

Felix Wetzel, Jobsite’s group marketing director, said: “Green careers are an area that’s set to grow significantly.
“Green jobs may be to the 2010s what IT was to the 1990s. Recruiters need to tap into this social change if they are to continue to pull in candidates.”
