JTL, the UK’s leading vocational training provider to the building services engineering industry, has switched its Voluntary Benefits provider to Asperity Employee Benefits to encourage engagement among its 400 staff.
Launched in September, the new programme – ‘My JTL Rewards’ – provides JTL employees with access to discounts and offers at over 1,500 retailers online and in-store, through Asperity’s Reward Gateway platform.
Julie Asher-Smith, HR manager for JTL, said:
“We were keen to bring in a provider that could give voluntary benefits a higher profile in the company, and provide more communication support which is one of Asperity’s specialities.

“In the current economic climate, we felt that our employees would appreciate the opportunity to save money on everyday things like groceries and petrol, and we could see the value that such a broad set of discounts and benefits would bring.”
Tim Cross from Asperity, who manages the scheme, commented:
“We’re really pleased to be working with JTL. Their decision to appoint Asperity was made strategically at director level, so all parts of the business are behind making the scheme a success. This is reflected in the excellent take-up in the first two weeks after launch, and we are confident that employee participation in the scheme will remain high.”
