Kenexa sponsors flagship event for HR thought leaders: HRO World Summit Europe

by Personnel Today 18 Nov 2009
by Personnel Today 18 Nov 2009

Kenexa, a global provider of business solutions for human resources, is the Global Marquis Sponsor of the 2009 HRO World Summit Europe, the flagship annual event for HR thought leaders, which will be held in London, 18-19 November 2009.

Over 250 senior executives – including chief HR officers, finance and IT directors, and shared services managers – will gather to network, share experiences and discuss the management and operational challenges they face and the future role of HR in their organisations in 2010 and beyond.

The event, ‘Driving the CEO’s agenda through HR operations and effective sourcing’, will include interactive workshops, case study sessions, expert panel discussions and presentations on business-critical HR topics, such as outsourcing, shared services, cost reduction, leadership, talent management, learning and improving organisational performance.

Tim Geisert, a Kenexa Principal and Vice President of Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO), will deliver a best practice session entitled ‘Fulfilling the value proposition of the RPO partner: Addressing the needs of the customer’ (19 November, 9.15-9.45am). He will explain what makes an effective RPO partnership and the dilemmas involved in the RPO purchase. He will reveal the findings of a research study from the Kenexa Research Institute that sheds new light on the concerns, perceptions and preferences of those who partner with recruitment outsourcing vendors.

“Radical changes in client expectations and vendor capabilities are transforming the global market for recruitment process outsourcing,” said Tim Geisert. “Picking the right RPO can be a ‘career maker’ or a ‘career breaker’ decision. Buyers should be expecting a more innovative and strategic approach to recruitment and a measurable level of service that goes beyond efficiency and effectiveness. They should be looking for a provider who can offer expert recruitment specialists across multiple regions, automated recruiting tools, proven processes, sourcing innovation, assessment science and an ability to monitor employee engagement.”

Other distinguished speakers will present at the event, including senior managers from Accenture, Avery Dennison, Cadbury, IBM, PA, Sun and Verizon.

Now in its sixth year, HRO World Summit Europe is organised by HROA Europe, a professional association for HR decision makers and service providers, and SharedXpertise, an independent, membership-based community of business professionals.

The event will be held at the Grange St Paul’s Hotel, 10 Godliman Street, London EC4V 5AJ
