KPMG has appointed Donna Halkyard as a director in its diversity and inclusion team, joining the professional services firm from BAE Systems where she was global head of diversity and inclusion.

Prior to working at BAE Systems, Halkyard had experience at other organisations including the Royal Bank of Scotland and Ford.

Jim Marsh, UK chief operating officer and head of people at KPMG, said: “We are delighted that Donna is joining us. She is a top diversity and inclusion professional. Combined with our recently announced hire of Stephen Frost – formerly head of diversity and inclusion at the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games – to head up the team, this underlines how serious we are about driving a real step change in our diversity and inclusion efforts and our commitment to making faster progress.”
