Kronos launches efficient access

by Personnel Today 21 Apr 2008
by Personnel Today 21 Apr 2008

Kronos today announces UK availability of Efficient Access, a 100 percent real-time, web-based access control solution developed to meet the needs of any organisation looking to control access to its premises and to protect its employees, visitors, and assets.

Efficient Access offers all the benefits of a first-rate solution for access control with the important distinction of full integration with the Kronos Workforce Central workforce management suite.

Kronos manages the entire project from concept to commissioning and handover, bringing customers a one-stop shop for workforce management and access control.

‘Many of our workforce management customers have asked about access control from Kronos over the years. Until now, we’ve been challenged to offer a product that meets the high standards required by our customer base’, comments Simon Macpherson, operations director of Kronos UK:

‘Efficient Access has been developed and successfully deployed by Kronos in hundreds of organisations over many years. We’re now delighted to bring it to the UK market with full integration to our Kronos Workforce Central suite’.

Successful integration of access control systems with workforce management systems can often be problematic, with two vendors to manage and systems with a completely different look and feel to integrate.

A common framework for both systems, such as a single point of data entry will bring numerous benefits to organisations, including less likelihood of duplication, access rights based on department and removed when employees move within the business or to another organisation, a reduction in information input errors, and the ability to accurately create on premise reporting in case of emergencies.
