Latest sales figures confirm success of Specsavers in corporate market

SALES figures released today confirm the success of Specsavers Corporate Eyecare in optimising its service for the corporate market.

As a result of continuous improvements to the services offered to HR professionals, Specsavers Corporate Eyecare has seen significant growth in business over the last year. Figures released today reveal a strong trading performance for the company’s 2009/10 accounts, with a massive 38% year-on-year increase for the quarter ending February 2010.

Specsavers Corporate Eyecare has been constantly monitoring and updating its products, services, website and telesales team. This has led to the highest possible levels of customer service at a time when business has been tough for everyone. This in turn has resulted in considerable sales growth.

Laura Butler, corporate account manager for Specsavers Corporate Eyecare, says: ‘We are of course delighted with the results of our sales figures but, more importantly, they show that we are getting things right for our clients.’

Part of the past year’s success is being apportioned to the launch of Specsavers Corporate Eyecare’s new telesales team. This resource provides great support to HR professionals and, as a result, sales per month have increased three-fold in the last two years.

Within this time, Specsavers Corporate Eyecare has also launched its new-look website and the additional functions and services it offers have helped corporate clients to achieve even greater benefits from the overall service they receive.

Mrs Butler continues: ‘Good value is becoming increasingly important to all clients and this has led many new customers in our direction. Knowing that they are also receiving expert advice is of great reassurance to our clients. Regulations regarding eyecare are constantly changing and our clients like to know that they can seek guidance regarding legislation and best practice.’
