by Personnel Today 25 Jun 2008
by Personnel Today 25 Jun 2008

Logica, a leading IT and business services company, has partnered with SafeGuard World International (SGWI) to offer a fully managed international payroll service to both existing and new clients.

After an extensive review and evaluation of contenders in the marketplace, Logica selected SGWI for its proven expertise in delivering managed international payrolls together with its specialist niche technology.

This global partnership is in line with Logica’s strategy for growth as it allows the company to offer software agnostic managed services to its customers.

Logica has a robust alliance network and SGWI enhances Logica’s solution portfolio and reach.

With this partnership, Logica will now be able to offer managed payroll services in 76 countries across the globe.

The partnership enables customers and prospects to process multi-country payrolls through one platform, with one contract and consolidated global financial reporting.

The two companies with their combined experience and expertise will enable improved compliance and uniform global payroll processes.

With SGWI, Logica strengthens its service reach, thereby providing clients the opportunity to work with one single partner for their complete outsourcing requirements.

Deborah Williams, HR and Payroll Director at Logica comments:

“This partnership combines  the strong IT and process management skills our customers are used to receiving from Logica with a specialist organisation that has a deep understanding and proven experience of delivering multi-national payroll solutions“.

John Giles, Chief Operating Officer at Safeguard World International adds:

“I am delighted that Logica has chosen us as their international payroll partner. The cooperation is already proving very popular with our prospects who highly rate the strength and depth of Logica’s expertise and services whilst recognising that there is a strong need for specialist skills like ours.

“The partnership offers a proven solution and adds significant value to companies struggling with the complexities of paying staff worldwide.”
