How long?
The course can be taken on a full-time basis or part-time for those in employment. The full-time course takes 30 weeks, or two semesters, to complete, plus an additional 15 weeks period for the MSc. The part-time course requires attendance one afternoon and one evening a week.
Entry qualifications
The course is open to graduate of an Honours degree. Graduates of non-business/management disciplines, and non-graduates with experience, may want to take the Access Foundation in Management Studies as a pre-Masters course. No work experience is required for those attending on a full-time basis.
Modules
These include the business environment, HR management, finance for managers, marketing, managing people, economics of business, e-business systems, and planning and decision-making. Students also complete a research methods module prior to the preparation and completion of their MSc dissertation. There is a Full Time Placement Route working in Industry for seven weeks. The Full Time Route also starts with another intake at the end of January 2005.
